BORN TO LEAD - GLAD TO SERVE
Brother Cornelius Pratt is originally from Liberia, West Africa. He carries a heritage of denominational ministers. He completed College in Liberia where he majored in math and physics. Later, while working for the Liberian Electricity Corporation, he was awarded a scholarship to study Computer Science in Chicago, IL.
While in the United States, he had an opportunity to attend one of Brother Kenneth E. Hagin’s "All Faith Crusades”. There he was filled with the Holy Spirit and received a new direction for his life from the Lord. Soon after, Wanita, who is also from Liberia came into his life. He completed graduate school in Chicago and got married. Following the call of God on their lives they moved to Oklahoma.
There they attended Rhema Bible Training College; he studied pastoral ministries and she studied supportive/ helps ministries. They were privileged to have served as Altarcare Team Leaders at Rhema Bible Church for two decades. They lead thousands to salvation and restoration. They were also blessed with three wonderful children.
In 2010, the family migrated to Bentonville, AR where they quickly continued in leading people to Lord, as alter care leaders in a local church. Brother Cornelius is also a member of the Advisory Board of the church. Brother’s Cornelius calling has always been to teach. So at John Brown University he is an adjunct professor. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of the College of Business.
Brother Cornelius didn’t know the call of God on his life until, after he was filled with the Holy Spirit. That call has compelled him to pursue God’s plans and purposes for his life. Even though he achieved great educational success and worked in the secular area; the call of God has been his the driving focus for the last 25 years. This call has influenced him in every step. This is why he and Wanita has taken this next step in founding “Cornelius Pratt Ministries”.
Sister Wanita grew up in Liberia, West Africa. At a young age her love for the Lord was stronger than, her desire for the things of the world. She couldn’t seem to get enough of His presences. For instance, on Sunday’s she would attend a Catholic church at 8am and a Baptist church at 10:30am. She would get re-saved every time she attended a service. This may seem odd but she craved more of God. Questions of why was she different plagued her for years. She had no knowledge of the call of God on her life.
“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death". Philippians 3:10 KJV
