hillsHebrews 11:1 KJV: Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen

Young's Literal Translation: And Faith is of things hoped for a confidence, of matters not seen a conviction

Amplified (AMP): Faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation)

God’s Word: Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we not see.

So then Faith is something that you hold unto until you see the material thing. In order to have faith, you have to base it on what was said to you, given to you, or promised you. And believing it as true.

Your faith has to be base on what was said to you! What was said to you from His Word, what did the Word say about your situation? What did He promise you? What did He do for you on calvary? What are your rights as being a child of God?

Example: As for my children when they come home. they help themselves to whatever is in the fridge; because they are part of the family. Their friends have to ask if it is okay to have something. We are children of God. If you are born again (John 1:12) then all of His blessings are yours. (Psalms 103:2-5) All His benefits are yours—Healing is a benefit, salvation is a benefit, etc.

When a problem comes, run to the Lord, wait on Him find His Word—What did He say? Your Faith has to be based on what He said. You can’t have faith to break into the bank on 5th Ave and none of your crew members get hurt—and you get away successfully. Why not, because God didn't promise you that, He wouldn't say that to you.
